Soumya Das obtained his M.Sc. from the National Institute of Technology, Calicut (NITC), India. Then he worked as a Project assistant at Jadavpur University and Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Berhampur. He joined the group of Prof. Anthony Davis at The University of Bristol in 2023, working on the development of glucose transporters suitable for clinical development as channelopathy therapies. Outside of chemistry, he enjoys chess, cricket and classical music. When not in lab, he can be found near the coffee machine.
