Ryan Eades

Ryan obtained his MSc in Chemistry from the University of Birmingham in 2023, which included a year in industry with GSK. His Masters project focused on computational chemistry, specifically designing compound libraries for early-stage drug discovery. Within the Davis group, he is synthesising novel macrocyclic receptors for binding non-equatorial carbohydrates in water. He is also co-supervised by Prof Adrian Mulholland, where he is using MD and QM computational methods to delve deeper into the properties of the Davis group’s carbohydrate receptors.
