Fataa Kusumattaqiin was born in Samarinda, East Kalimantan, Indonesia. He is also a civil servant at Politeknik Negeri Samarinda (Chemical Engineering). After working several years at that institution, he decided to follow LPDP’s (Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education Agency) test. And finally in 2023, he got LPDP’s scholarship (PhD) and joined in 2024 with Prof. Anthony P Davis’ group which focuses on development of supramolecular as carbohydrates sensor in vesicle..
