Suresh Moorthy

Suresh Moorthy obtained his Ph.D. in the group of Prof. Amitava Das from the Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute (CSIR-CSMCRI), India. Then he went to the University of Queensland (UQ), Australia as a UQ Postdoctoral Research Fellow. With the subsequent Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship from Germany, he joined Prof. Schalley’s group at Free University Berlin. After this, he returned to the UQ and joined Prof. Jack Clegg’s group to develop neutral metallo-supramolecular cages. Before moving to Bristol, he was a Research Associate in Dr. T-C Lee’s group at University College London, working on gas-phase supramolecular chemistry using ion-mobility mass spectrometry. He joined the group of Prof. Anthony Davis at The University of Bristol in 2021, working on the development of anion transporters suitable for clinical development as channelopathy therapies.
