Himani obtained her M.Sc. degree in Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee in 2024. During her master’s studies, she focused on the application of porphyrins in catalysis and host-guest chemistry under the guidance of Prof. M. Sankar. In 2023, she worked on a project with Prof. Sridhar Rajaram at JNCASR Bangalore, focusing on the synthesis of substituted trimethylene carbonate. In 2025, she joined Prof. Anthony P. Davis’s group for her Ph.D. to explore macrocyclic cages for biomimetic carbohydrate recognition.
