Aheli completed her graduation from the University of Delhi, India. She went on to pursue a master’s in chemistry from National Institute of Technology, Surathkal (NITK), India. During this tenure she underwent an internship in Prof. Subi George’s group where her project focused on achieving supramolecular polymerization inside lipid protocells. Her master’s thesis revolved around the design and synthesis of chemosensors for selective detection of ions in aqueous media. She joined the Davis group in 2025 where her work constitutes of designing of biomimetic receptors for carbohydrates.
Just a girl who gets excited when the sky changes colors!..
